FOR RELEASE ON: MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2023

MUXIP NAB BOOTH #W2078

LAS VEGAS – MuxIP, a leading provider of automated solutions for ad-supported streaming, today announced that its FASTHub for Broadcast platform has enabled availability of over-the-air broadcast carriage of MTRSPT1, the leading live global motorsports network. MuxIP has previously delivered 24/7 live Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel capabilities for MTRSPT1, and now enables digital subchannel pick-up of the network. This is one of the first FAST channel-into-broadcast carriage integrations of its kind with fully rights-cleared availability.

MTRSPT1 has rights to more than 200 live races annually, on top of more than 2,000 hours of content that includes a variety of motorsports reality, magazine, builder shows, and lifestyle programming for 2-wheel, 4-wheel, or no-wheel’s on-track, in the street, off-road on water or in-air events. MTRSPT1 recently announced that it is the exclusive live FAST channel home of the MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Class.

FASTHub for Broadcast extends FASTHub’s multi-tenant cloud solution to cover the core elements of broadcast through a single workflow. This single source solution is complementary to existing workflows, and is the first solution to incorporate broadcast and FAST capabilities into a single SaaS platform.

MuxIP will demonstrate FASTHub for Broadcast at NAB 2023 in Booth #W2078 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

MuxIP’s FASTHub is a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) solution that rapidly encodes, prepares, packages, and distributes channels – including broadcast, satellite, and digital – to any OTT platform, TV device, or application. Based on patented technology, FASTHub converts broadcast streams to digital, enabling the rapid creation of Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels at lower costs and with greater revenue generation than competing solutions. FASTHub is the only FAST solution that can reliably and rapidly provision live multichannel experiences. MTRSPT1 ideally represents MuxIP’s differentiation in the FAST channel market, as the network can more flexibly add live feeds for viewers.

“Broad distribution is critical for live FAST channels, and adding broadcast channel distribution increases both our reach and our value to advertisers,” said John Duff, COO of MTRSPT1. “As motorsport content is chronically underserved in live broadcast television, we can work with partners such as MuxIP to deliver over-the-air audiences a greater share of live event programming that satisfies motorsport enthusiasts and advertisers alike.”

With more than 60 different racing series on-air, half of which is new 2022-23 content, MTRSPT1 includes everything from kid-friendly Ultimate Kart Racing and iRacing (Sim Racing) for F1, IndyCar, NASCAR, GT, LeMans to MotoAmerica’s Supersport, Stock 1000, Twins Cup series, and international events including FIM Super Enduro, Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, PanAfrica Rally, UIM XCat World Championship, Targa Series, and Garage/DIY content, including ‘Lifted Life’, ‘Sam’s Garage’, ‘The 900 Series’, ‘Global Garages’, ‘The Aviators’, and ‘Curators’ Vault’. MTRSPT1 can be viewed on Sling TV, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, TCL Channels, Freecast and Channelbox , among other systems.

“The value of our FASTHub for Broadcast platform is just beginning to awaken the FAST channel industry, and the insatiable demand for passion content networks will demonstrate the necessity of pushing FAST channel content into broadcast streams,” said Tom Link, CEO of MuxIP. “We see MTRSPT1 leading a new generation of live sports programmers who will super-serve audiences with live content on levels previously unseen, thanks to the capabilities of FAST-into-broadcast delivery.”
